For our topic we are doing world famous and we are doing about Michael Faraday and Thomas Edison invented the first lightbulb and we are doing about the Victorians.In the victorian times they had no central heating and no cars they had horse and carrige and Michael Faraday was quite rich and bulit his own lab to try new things out.

Maths

In maths we was doing counting on and counting back.On tuesday we went to the ICT suite to do some maths work on our times tables.Then we went back to class and we did some work on counting back and counting on. We found out that when you do a times table you can double and double it again.

Pom pom snow men

All the classes are doing a theme for christmas we are doing snow men we have to make a big fluffy pom pom and transform it in to a snow man.We all have to bring some wool in if we have any but if we dont the school will give us some wool to use.Witch is really nice of them to spend their money and use all the school eqitment so we can make pom pom snow men.When we have done a few layers we can go on to another layer.When we have done we can put them together to make our snow man then we can add a scarf,a hat and a tiny carrot for it’s nose.

Literacy

In literacy we are doing about autobiography and biography we know what autobiogrphy means it means self and life and biography means when someone else is talking about you or someone else.We have been writing our own auto-biography.We had to put our name date of birth, our place of birth, our early childhood,key moments and other facts about us and we had to put what job/career we want to do and most girls picked to be a hair dresser but most boys wanted to be a footballer

Electricity

Today we have been learning about electricity. We have been dwrawing simple circuits and writing if the circuit is right or wrong and people have been saying that the circuit is wrong but it is right. Mr Burgess has set us a game the game is domminos but with circuit symbols.

In P.E were are doing volcano dancing which involves rolling on the floor. Sometimes we have people are looking at a person to give them a score out of 6. Then we take turns.

Biographies

We have been working on biographies to see if it is a story, biographie or a autobiographie. Autobiographies are written by the person involved and biographies are written about an individual by a different person. What we are doing is reading the biographies and saying infomation about the life of the person.

Wednsday’s work

Yesterday we had a supply teacher in our class and his name was Mr Taylor. He kept telling us funny storys about his life.

In english we talked about bioghapys to recap are minds because half of us forgot what a bioghapy was and autobioghapy was. Then we looked at David Beckhams bioghapy are job was to correct the sentences and make sure all the words were spelt right.

Tuesday’s work

We all finished are 200 spelling test . We looked at the books from the book fair there was three stands with books on all the shelves.There was books for all ages.

We practise the christmas play and we went to the hall to practise it for the very first time we didn’t get very far because peole didn’t get there lines right or they didn’t speak loud enough and peole was getting ready to go to the hall for assembly.We only did chapter one.
